This piece is awesome! I use it to hold my few Blu-Rays and Misc. household items. It isn't that big, so if you are using it to hold an extensive DVD collection, you might want to get a larger DVD case. This is more of a decorative item that can store smaller items. It's def. a piece of furniture that stands out and is a focal point in our living room. Assembly is faitly easy and I recommend using a drill for the actual door. Great price, Would def. recommend!!

I looked for the word "assembly" and did not find it, so I assumed this was already put together, especially given the price. The directions were incomplete and the pictures are not good enough to help. Also places where holes should have been drilled were not. This would have helped to figure things out. In short, it was a bear to put together and after everything I have a $150 piece of junk.

This is a great DVD storage system. It has taken some abuse from my 18 month old son, we put a lock on it to keep him out, and he yanks the door every day multiple times a day. My one complaint is that to store the DVDs you have to store them in two rows one in front of the other. We don't always watch all our DVDs though so its no big deal. Plus the top and bottom shelves are too short for DVDs to stand up, we had to lay them down. Oh and when assembling it, be sure to put it together right, we had to disassemble and reassemble because we had the sides switched. The directions aren't the greatest but we managed to put it together.
